BEGINNER

The RSA’s “Essential Driver Training” (EDT) programme came into effect on 4 April 2011. If your first Learner Permit was issued after this date you must complete the EDT programme. See www.rsa.ie for further details.

If your Learner Permit was issued before 4 April 2011 you are exempt from this new programme and can proceed to book lessons in your own time. Contact me for more information.

Learning to drive can be an extremely stressful experience. The aim is to create a relaxed, comfortable and safe environment which will allow you to develop your skills at a pace to suit you. You can be assured you will receive 1 to 1 tuition from a patient, professional experienced driving instructor.

IMPROVER

If you can already drive but not feeling very confident or perhaps haven’t driven for some time, then let me help you regain that confidence. I will guide you through your driving technique and take you to those places where “I couldn’t possibly drive to”. I will work on increasing your confidence to drive to unfamiliar areas and put you back in control.

PRE-TEST

You have just received your test date in Rathgar / Churchtown / Wicklow.

You will normally be given 4 weeks notice prior to test date. Use this time wisely, contact me at least 2 weeks prior to test date. An assessment of your driving skills will be done and any problems will be identified and recommendations made to correct. I will endeavour to be available on your test date to provide support and encouragement and to “be there”to congratulate you on your success.
